ANDRITZ to supply high-temperature Yankee hood and air system to Northwood Tissue, England

24 Mar. 2024: ANDRITZ has received a turn-key order from Northwood Tissue Ltd. to supply a new PrimeDry Hood and an air system for a tissue machine rebuild at the mill in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England. Start-up is planned for the third quarter of 2024.

Mystery of Curling Paper Solved

24 Mar. 2023: Paper printed on one side starts to curl with a delay of up to a few days. Researchers at TU Graz have discovered that this is due to solvents in the ink that over time migrate towards the unprinted side of the paper.

24 Mar. 2024: Kemira and PA Consulting have formed a strategic collaboration aimed at accelerating the development of a new renewable coating technology, supporting transformation into more sustainable food packaging. This builds upon the recent announcement of a new contract manufacturing facility by Kemira and IFF under their exclusive partnership, which will be able to supply entry-level industrial scale volumes for Kemira’s strategic markets.
